Categories
Categories are the tabs at the top of the grid. Each category shows only the bookmarks assigned to it. By default, your Chrome bookmark folders are imported as categories automatically.
Creating a category
From the new tab page: right-click anywhere on the background and choose New category. Type a name and press Enter or click Create.
From the side panel: open the side panel, go to the Categories tab, and click New category at the top.
On the fly: when adding or editing a bookmark, click the + button next to the category dropdown to create a new category without leaving the dialog.
Reordering categories
Drag any category chip left or right to reorder. The new order is saved immediately.
Showing and hiding categories
To hide a category without deleting it, open the side panel → Categories tab, and toggle the visibility switch next to the category name. Hidden categories don’t appear in the chip bar but their bookmarks are preserved.
Category colors
Each category chip can have a custom background color and text color. To change colors:
- Open the side panel → Categories tab.
- Click the color swatch next to the category name.
- Pick a background color and a text color from the color picker.
Moving bookmarks between categories
Drag and drop: drag a bookmark card onto any category chip to move it there instantly.
Context menu: right-click a bookmark card → Move to category → choose the target category.
Edit modal: open the bookmark’s edit dialog and change the Category dropdown.
